Pico Space Pro photos reveal headset design: specs and UK launch status

Updated 15 October 2026. The first photographs of a physical Pico Space Pro have surfaced in Japanese regulatory documents. They give us a look at the headset’s exterior and internal layout, but they are certification images, not a launch announcement or a hands-on review.

What do the new photos show?

The Japanese filing is listed as certification number 202-JWM032 and shows a device marked B3110. That model number also appears in US FCC documents for a mixed reality headset and a separate main unit. The exterior pictures show a broad visor, rear head strap and forehead support. Internal photos reveal the front camera and sensor array, optical modules and a central cooling fan. The appearance of this certification unit may differ from the final retail finish.

The Japanese test setup includes a partly disguised box behind the headset, while the FCC labels identify a separate main unit. It is sensible to wait for Pico’s formal reveal before drawing conclusions about how its battery, cable and processing hardware will work in everyday use.

What has Pico confirmed?

Pico’s developer documentation describes custom micro-OLED displays with 4K-level output for each eye, a stated pixel density of 4,000 PPI, average clarity of 40 pixels per degree and more than 45 pixels per degree in the centre. Pico also lists eye and hand tracking, a two-chip architecture, and Pico OS 6 for spatial apps. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements from a review unit.

That focus on fine text, mixed reality and spatial windows puts Space Pro in the premium headset conversation. The photos tell us more about its shape, but they cannot establish comfort, passthrough quality, display performance or value. Those will need proper testing.

When can you buy Pico Space Pro in the UK?

Pico moved its planned September unveiling and has indicated a fourth-quarter 2026 target. As of 15 October, there is no confirmed day, UK price or UK sales date. Pico’s published device specifications still leave important details such as battery capacity, field of view, memory and refresh rate unannounced. Treat any precise price or release day circulating online as unconfirmed until Pico publishes it.

Our take: these are useful first photographs of a real certification device and a sign that Space Pro is progressing, but there is still too much missing to recommend waiting for it or buying it. If you need a headset now, start with our current VR headset guide; we will revisit Space Pro when Pico confirms its UK plans and reviewers can test it.
