1. Meta Quest 3S 128GB — best headset deal
Amazon UK lists the Quest 3S 128GB at £259, sold and dispatched by Amazon when checked. Currys lists the same storage capacity at £319, so the Amazon price offers a meaningful £60 difference rather than a decorative “sale” banner.
The Quest 3S uses the Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 platform and Touch Plus controllers. It gives buyers access to the current Quest library without the higher cost of the Quest 3’s pancake lenses and 512GB storage. It is the sensible choice for first-time VR buyers who value performance more than premium optics.
Buy if: you want current-generation standalone VR at the lowest verified price. Skip if: lens clarity and a slimmer headset matter more than saving money.
2. Meta Quest 3 512GB — premium price watch
Currys lists the Quest 3 512GB at £529. We are treating that as a price benchmark, not calling it an exceptional deal. The Quest 3 remains the better headset for regular users because its pancake lenses produce a larger clear viewing area, while 512GB gives considerably more room for games.
Currys is also advertising 30% off selected Venom VR accessories when bought with an eligible Meta Quest headset. Bundle discounts can be worthwhile, but only choose an accessory you already intended to buy.
3. Affordable Quest accessories at Currys
The Venom Quest 3 and 3S power bank is listed at £19.99, while the Venom carrying case compatible with Quest 2, 3 and 3S is £25.99. These are practical entry-level additions for extra play time and storage. Check that the case has enough space if you use a larger aftermarket head strap.
The official Meta Link Cable is £89.99 at Currys. That is convenient, but not automatically the best value: a less expensive USB 3 cable may work for wired PC VR if it meets the required data specification and is long enough for safe movement.
4. BOBOVR M3 Pro battery strap — manufacturer saving
BOBOVR lists the M3 Pro battery strap for Quest 3 and 3S at $49.99, reduced from $59.99. The strap uses a removable 5,200mAh B2 battery and is designed to reduce facial pressure while adding roughly 1.5 to 2 hours of use.
This is a genuine advertised reduction, but it is priced in US dollars. UK buyers should check the final converted price, delivery time, VAT and any import costs before ordering.
When is a VR deal actually good?
- Compare the exact model and storage: Quest 3S 128GB and 256GB are not equivalent offers.
- Check the seller: marketplace prices can come from third parties with different returns and warranty arrangements.
- Ignore inflated “was” prices: compare against at least one other established UK retailer.
- Value bundles honestly: a free accessory saves nothing if it would otherwise remain in a drawer.
- Include delivery and import costs: particularly when ordering accessories in dollars.
